My wife is pictured here with an oversize redfish that she caught in a very narrow canal next to the Indian River in central Florida's Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge.
That day she outfished me by two to zero. Oh well, sometimes it just goes that way.
She caught both of the oversize bruisers with dead shrimp and a Cajun Thunder rig. (I really should advertise for them because they do catch fish.)
I tried artificials of all kinds and didn't get anything but small trout hits.
The fish in this picture was just over 29 inches and had to go back.
Some days the women have all the fun.....
Till next time,
